The full reparation of the damage caused to the people and territories affected by the dam collapse in Brumadinho is a commitment of Vale, according to the signed court agreement.

Our company is also committed to communities and municipalities affected by emergency evacuations and preventive relocations resulting from changes in dam safety levels.

All work is guided by dialogue with people and public bodies, focusing on the joint construction of solutions that can effectively make the reparation and compensate for impacts. In this regard, since 2019, actions have been developed on the social, environmental and economic fronts.

In February 2021, the Full Reparation Agreement was signed by Vale, the Government of Minas Gerais, the Federal and State Public Prosecution Office of MG, and the Public Defender's Office of Minas Gerais. The Agreement is in execution with important advances.
