Vale announces that at about 5:30 am on Sunday, the warning sirens were triggered in the region of the Córrego do Feijão Mine in Brumadinho (MG), after the monitoring instruments of Dam 6 detected an increase in water levels. This dam forms part of the Brumadinho complex. Authorities have been advised and, as a precautionary measure, the community in the region is being moved to the meeting points previously determined by the Emergency Plan. Vale will continue to monitor the situation, together with the Civil Defense. The company will continue to provide information as soon as it is confirmed.
