Vale invests in social development initiatives and sponsors projects through the Federal Sports Incentive Law 

Contributing to moments of education and leisure, sports sponsorship strengthens relationships with communities and supports the company's social activities.  
In 2024, Vale sponsored 93 projects that resulted in 293 initiatives in its operating territories, investing more than R$88 million in incentivized resources.

Tennis Network Massification 

Carried out by Rede Tênis Brasil (RTB), the Massification project aims to combine sport with education, promoting social development and citizenship among children and adolescents.  
In addition to bringing tennis to public schools, tutoring classes in mathematics and Portuguese are also offered. The project is carried out in municipalities in Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Pará and Rio de Janeiro.

Health has no age 

The Health Has No Age project offers access to sports activities for adults and seniors.  
With a focus on promoting health, the project aims to encourage regular exercise and improve the quality of life of participants. Currently, sponsored by Vale, it serves around 180 adults and seniors in Serra Pelada – Curionópolis, (PA).

Gymnastics Center of Excellence 

Gymnastics Centers of Excellence offer free access to various modalities, such as artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics, for children and adolescents.  
The partnership between Vale and the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation (CBG) provides support for the maintenance of 30 centers, where around 3,000 children, between the ages of 5 and 10, practice the sport.

Ajudôu

Ajudôu is a Non-Governmental Organization that offers free judo, karate, volleyball, futsal and handball classes for children and teenagers. 
With the aim of promoting social inclusion, the project seeks to strengthen the sense of community and offer socialization, health and well-being activities. Operating in socially vulnerable regions, Ajudôu has already helped more than 800 young people.

Beach for Everyone 

The Praia Para Todos (Beach for Everyone) project aims to promote inclusive leisure and sports activities for people with disabilities and reduced mobility.
Held in the city of Rio de Janeiro and in Mangaratiba, it has already served 250 children and adolescents. The aim is to make the environment less exclusionary by offering a minimum infrastructure and promoting physical and sporting activities, such as adapted beach tennis, sitting volleyball and sea bathing.

Zico 10 Hub 

The Zico 10 project hub aims to use football as an educational and social transformation tool, creating champions on and off the field, giving opportunities to everyone.  
Using a teaching methodology developed by Flamengo idol Zico and his team, schools recognize children and teenagers as unique beings and based on this, develop socio-emotional skills in them. The project operates in the cities of Itaguaí (RJ), Canaã dos Carajás (PA), Governador Valadares (MG), Nova Lima (MG), São Luís (MA) and Açailândia (MA).

Incentive Laws and Vale Foundation 

The Vale Foundation promotes social development in the regions where it operates, strengthening public policies on education, health and income generation, in addition to supporting Vale with actions to promote access to resources from tax incentive laws that foster social, sports and health initiatives.

Free, online and with certification, the initiative contributes to the technical qualification of institutions that wish to obtain incentivized resources to develop sports projects.

Submit your project 

The project analysis cycle takes place between July and September of the current year. Projects must be registered with Ministry of Sports platform to then be submitted in the Vale's sponsorship platform.
